LG AC error codes – Fixed-speed split AS-H/AS-C 0764/0964/1264/1865DM0, LS-H0964DL0
7 codes from the LG service manual, with what each one means and the usual causes. Only one blink code on this series; the rest are symptom checks from the manual.
You can safely switch the unit off at the switch, wait 5 minutes and switch on again. Don't open the unit, touch wiring or handle gas: these checks need a trained technician.

Indoor room or pipe thermistor open/short
What our technician checks
- Check indoor thermistor assembly (room sensor about 10 kΩ at 25°C) and its connector.
No power
Unit does not operate at all
What our technician checks
- Power off 10 s, on: listen for beep. No beep: check supply AC 220/240 V, interconnect wiring, PCB fuse, track damage, varistor ZNR01J, SMPS transformer. Beep: check loads and connectors CN-MOTOR, RY-COMP.
Comp/fan not running
Compressor and outdoor fan do not run
What our technician checks
- Set cool 1°C below room temp
- not in fan mode. Room sensor ~10 kΩ at 25°C and placed correctly. RY-COMP: Micom pin 59 = DC 5 V when ON
- IC01M pin 15 below 1 V when ON, ~12 V when OFF. AC 220/240 V at compressor terminal = PCB OK.
Indoor fan dead
Indoor fan does not operate
What our technician checks
- CN-MOTOR connection, fan motor, fuse AC250V T2A, TRIAC (open = never runs, short = always runs). CN-MOTOR pin 1-3: over AC 180 V on high = TRIAC OK.
Louver stuck
Vertical louver does not move

- Louver geared to stepping-motor shaft
- CN-U/D connector & soldering
- DC +12 V on CN-U/D red pin
- IC01M driver.
Remote not working
Unit does not respond to remote
What our technician checks
- 3-min compressor delay is normal. Replace remote battery if low mark shows. CN-DISP1 connector, DC +5 V on display PCB, receiver assembly.
Low cooling
Poor cooling - refrigerant cycle check
What our technician checks
- Air temp difference in/out should be over 8°C. ~0°C diff + low current = all gas leaked. ~8°C + current <80% = leak/clog/compressor. <8°C + current over rated = overcharge. Normal suction 8.5-9.5 kg/cm²G (cooling).
